Bass and Blades is the dynamic musical duo of award-winning singer-songwriter Jeannie Caryn and bassist Rick Reese, delivering engaging live performances built around strong vocals, tight musicianship, and a diverse song selection.

Jeannie brings a powerful and expressive voice with skilled acoustic guitar work. Her album Mother's Self-Rising earned multiple nominations at the Josie Music Awards.

On bass, Rick provides groove, depth, and decades of live experience. A Berklee College of Music graduate, he's performed professionally across the country in rock, pop, and Americana settings.
